University of York - Environment Building
The September YCLF event will once again be focused on young professionals with the theme of this year’s event being non-standard receptors when assessing both greenfield and brownfield land. We all immediately consider human health and controlled waters as critical receptors, but we are often less familiar with the importance of other receptors such as coastal waters, archaeology and local, national and internationally designated ecological sites.
September’s seminar will look at how to identify the significance of these non-standard receptors in land quality assessments, how to undertake risk evaluation and ultimately how to ensure remediation is designed with these receptors in mind.
The conference will be held at the University of York Environment Building on 13th September, registration from 9.30.
